At Add Peace Mindanao Inc. (APMI), we believe peace begins close to home — in our communities, our everyday moments, and the small acts of care that hold people together. Our work exists to empower, accompany, and walk alongside communities across Mindanao, Philippines as they build peace in their own homes and neighborhoods. We do this through our flagship program, Lingkod Kapayapaan — our "Service of Peace" — which brings together education and dialogue, practical and humanitarian support, and youth-led volunteerism.
Across coastal villages, island communities, and conflict-affected and climate-vulnerable barangays, we walk alongside people as they build peace in their own homes and neighborhoods. We don't arrive with ready-made answers. We listen, accompany, and serve — treating every community as a partner and the true author of its own peace.
Today, we're a small but growing, community-rooted, and volunteer-led peacebuilding organization that honors Mindanao's tri-people heritage — our Indigenous, Moro, and settler-Christian communities alike. We work where peace and daily life meet, always guided by care, conflict sensitivity, and deep respect for local wisdom and ownership. Aligned with the Sustainable Development Goals, we keep growing our people, our partnerships, and our programs to make peace visible, and lasting, in everyday life.
Together, we're working to Make Mindanao Sustainable For All.
